We are excited to announce that Chameleon now has two baremetal H100 nodes at CHI@TACC! Last year, we announced H100 GPUs with virtual machines at KVM@TACC, but now we have this same hardware configured for baremetal on CHI@TACC, letting you run H100 experiments without going through a virtualization layer.
These nodes are Dell PowerEdge XE9640 equipped with Intel Xeon Platinum processor with 4 NVIDIA HGX H100 GPUs, 1 TB DDR5-4800 RAM, 2x 447.13 GB PCIe NVMe and 1x 3.84 TB PCIe NVMe. For the full hardware specification, filter by gpu_h100 in our hardware browser.
To reserve these nodes, you can make a reservation directly from the availability calendar or by filtering node_type=gpu_h100.
