IndySCC Site Open to All Chameleon Users Until January 5th - Explore Now!

As we roll toward the holiday season, we have an important update for Chameleon users!

We have some exciting news that brings a unique opportunity for all our users! Thanks to the University of Colorado Boulder's generous support, the IndySCC site, previously restricted to IndySCC teams, is now open to the general Chameleon users until the site shuts down on January 5th. This extension not only allows more of our community to access valuable resources but also is a testament to UC Boulder's commitment to fostering research and innovation.

Full specifications are available via the Chameleon Hardware Discovery page, and the site can be accessed either directly, at https://chi.rc.colorado.edu/, or via the “Experiment” dropdown menu at https://chameleoncloud.org/.

IndySCC Site Highlights:

  • 164 Nodes: Enough nodes to run larger experiments and investigate scaling.
  • Hardware Specs: 2x 12 core Haswell CPUs, 1G Ethernet, and 100G Intel Omni-Path for efficient data processing and connectivity.
  • Explore New Possibilities: This is an excellent chance to utilize these resources for your research needs.

Key Details:

  • Access Period: Full utilization of the site is available until January 5th.
  • Reservation Policy: To ensure a seamless transition and resource management, we are restricting new reservations post-January 5th. Note that as the site will be shut down on January 5th, you will need to ensure you have exported any experiment data by that point.

We are immensely grateful to the University of Colorado Boulder for this opportunity. Make sure to leverage this extended access period for your projects and research. If you have any questions or need support, our team is ready to assist.
