Submissions open for SC26 Rusty Lusk Travel Scholarship applications

We would like to share a special travel support opportunity for graduate students in our community who need financial support to attend the SC26 conference, provided by the ACM Special Interest Group on High Performance Computing (SIGHPC).

The Ewing "Rusty" Lusk Travel Scholarship provides full conference registration plus up to $1,600 in travel reimbursement (depending on departure continent relative to the conference location) to help graduate students attend the PASC, PEARC, and SC conferences when they lack institutional funding support. We are accepting applications now for the SC26 conference.

Application deadline: 30 September, 11:59 PM AoE (notifications sent by ~30 October).

Important requirements:

  • Only one student per advisor can apply.
  • No accepted paper required (students can apply before hearing back on submissions).
  • Students can only receive this scholarship once, and students may not combine this grant with any other SIGHPC-funded travel grant for SC26.

This is a wonderful opportunity to support students who might otherwise miss this important conference due to funding constraints. Please share this with graduate students and encourage those who could benefit to check their eligibility and apply early.

More details and the application form can be found at the Ewing "Rusty" Lusk Travel Scholarship page.
